Our cladding boards are made from Fifth grade redwood sourced from FSC certified forests. They come from a heartwood-based selection and are kiln dried, so you get the finest timber product. Our framing battens are spaced no more than 18" apart, so your building is stronger than most. Any size can be built, and we’re happy to take on the unusual too, even five-sided buildings.Everything you need comes as standard, including glass windows, Brenton bolt, turn button and door drip. Apex sheds have a traditional pitched roof finished with heavy roofing felt. Pent sheds have a single sloping roof and are fitted with an EPDM roofing membrane, so the price differs slightly between the two. Whichever shape you like the look of, we’ll build it properly. Every building is also treated with a quality spirit-based preservative, with four colours to choose from.

Who is this for?

What does it do?
Standard felt does the job on every apex building we make. But if you'd rather something with a bit more character, we also offer Onduvilla roof tiles as an alternative — lightweight, eco-friendly tiles available in green, red, or slate, designed to give your building a proper "roofed" look rather than a flat felted finish.
Why should I care?

EPDM is a synthetic rubber that is extremely durable and used across a variety of applications. EPDM is heat and weather resistant with its 2 main ingredients derived from natural gas and oil, making it an ideal flat roofing material and thus best for pent-roof buildings. EPDM is glued to the roof and is manufactured in one piece, meaning there will be no joins, highly reducing the risk of leakage, perfect choice for pent-roof buildings. Our EPDM rubber roofing supplies have a proven track record and a minimum life expectancy of 25 years under normal conditions. We now insist on any pent-roof building 6ft x 8ft or larger be roofed with EPDM because a pent-pitch does not allow water to run off as readily as the apex.

We are committed to building stabling units to your individual specifications. A quotation for standard loose stable boxes would include the following features:
Walls clad with 19mm x 125mm Tongue & Groove shiplap boarding, pressure treated external timbers.
50mm x 100mm (2" x 4") timber framing
A pitch roof with 1.2m (4') overhang to protect stable doors to the front.
A stable door and frame complete with all necessary galvanised fittings and deep door capping to the bottom door.
18mm thick kick boards fixed with galvanised nails to eaves height.
A high performance, heavy duty onduline roof or Onduvilla tiles is available.
